How Chelsea will line up with Cole Palmer
Chelsea have continued their spending spree by agreeing a £45 million deal to sign Cole Palmer from Manchester City.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been desperate to sign another attacking player, having been linked with Emile Smith Rowe, Ansu Fati and Jamal Musiala in recent days.
But after making an approach to City for Palmer, both sides negotiated quickly to push through a deal before Friday’s transfer deadline.

Palmer played just 19 times in the Premier League for City but was expecting to feature heavily this year after the departure of Riyad Mahrez.
But Palmer has barely featured in the Premier League this season and he is now set to leave to become the Blues’ 11th signing of the summer.
How will Chelsea line up with Cole Palmer
New signing Robert Sanchez is currently Chelsea's first-choice goalkeeper, having let go of both Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.
Newly-appointed captain Reece James and vice captain Ben Chilwell form one of the best full-back pairings in the Premier League.
Left-footed Levi Colwill, who excelled on loan at Brighton last season, will partner Thiago Silva in the centre of defence, with Axel Disasi, Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile acting as very able back-ups.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo make an exceptional midfield pivot, with Cole Palmer just ahead in the 'number 10' position.
Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling will occupy the flanks, with Palmer also able to play on the right, as well as Noni Madueke.
Centre forward Nicolas Jackson was superb in pre-season and scored his first Premier League goal against Luton last week.
