Chelsea near Brighton transfer valuation for Caicedo with HUGE bid
Chelsea have tabled a huge new offer for Moises Caicedo as they attempt to finally get a deal for the Brighton midfielder over the line.
According to Football Insider, the Blues have made a new bid worth €104 million (£90m) for the Ecuador star.
This offer is still some way short of the €116m (£100m) that Brighton are requesting in order to sell Caicedo.

However, Football Insider adds that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is sure that by the end of the transfer window Caicedo will be a Chelsea player.
Caicedo’s proposed move to Chelsea has been one of the longest-running sagas of the summer.
Chelsea have had two bids rejected by Brighton for Caicedo, and most recently had a €95m (£82m) offer turned down.

It is widely reported that Brighton are demanding €116m (£100m) for Caicedo, as they value him at a similar price to the record transfer fee Arsenal paid for West Ham’s Declan Rice.
Caicedo is desperate to join the Blues and is believed to be increasingly frustrated at the talks not making much progress.
The 21-year-old has developed into one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League over the past 18 months and helped Brighton qualify for Europe for the first time last season.
He also impressed for Ecuador at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, although his nation were eliminated in the group stages.
