Arsenal make millions from sale of FLOP

Former Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos is gearing up for another Premier League stint with West Ham, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Mavropanos, 25, failed to stake out a first-team spot at the Emirates Stadium and was shipped off to the Bundesliga with Stuttgart.
But after rediscovering his form in Germany, the Greece international is moving back to the English top flight on a five-year deal.

While the clubs declined to disclose the value of the transfer, it reportedly ran to £20 million - meaning Arsenal will receive around £2m due to the 10 per cent sell-on clause included in Mavropanos' initial sale.
"West Ham United are delighted to announce the signing of Greece international Konstantinos Mavropanos," the Hammers revealed on the club's official website.
"The centre-back – known to his family, friends and teammates as 'Dinos' – arrives at London Stadium from German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
"Capped 19 times by his country, Athens-born Mavropanos is a dominant presence at 6’4, a defender who plays on the front foot and is now looking forward to bringing his extensive range of talents to east London.

Dinos excited by Premier League return
Mavroponos stated: “I am really happy and excited to be here – and to be back in the Premier League with West Ham United.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the Club after last season’s Conference League win – and I am really looking forward to the next step in my career.
"I can promise the fans I will give everything for them and the shirt.”
Mavroponos, who made just eight appearances for Arsenal over two years, becomes West Ham's fourth signing of the summer window.
Sean Moore, Edson Álvarez and James Ward-Prowse have also joined David Moyes' squad, as the Hammers look to build on their Conference League win last season and also compensate for the loss of England midfielder Declan Rice.
