Monday delivered some shocking transfer news as Al-Hilal all but completed the signing of Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.

FootballTransfers was able to reveal that Manchester City are on closing in on the signings of Jeremy Doku from Rennes and Lucas Paqueta from West Ham.

We are also told that Leeds forward Wilfried Gnonto is still pushing for an Everton move and there is growing confidence that he will eventually be allowed to leave.

Chelsea complete double hijack

Chelsea managed to re-hijack Liverpool's hijack of Moises Caicedo and finally, after months of negotiations, announced his signing.

Meanwhile, the Reds agreed a deal with Southampton for Romeo Lavia, but the Belgian snubbed Liverpool and will join Chelsea in the coming days.

Neymar's Saudi move

Al-Hilal have been given Fabrizio Romano's famous 'here we go' for their deal to sign Neymar.

The Brazilian is set to earn an eye-watering salary in the Saudi Pro League.

But one must wonder whether his decision to leave Barcelona for PSG was the biggest mistake of his career.

His time in Paris will go down as an unsuccessful one and Kylian Mbappe will be delighted to see the back of him.
