Piers Morgan brutally MOCKS Ten Hag and Man Utd after Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr hat-trick
Piers Morgan has twisted the knife and slammed Erik ten Hag and Manchester United's decision to get rid of Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portugal superstar scored a hat-trick for Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo scored three and assisted one of Sadio Mane's two goals as Al-Nassr smashed Al-Fateh 5-0 to claim their first win of the Saudi Pro League season.
The win means that the side are tenth in the league, following their recent victory and two losses, while they recently won the Arab Club Champions Cup after Ronaldo scored a brace.

And Ronaldo’s superb form in Saudi Arabia has prompted Morgan to mock Ten Hag and Man Utd for letting him go.
The former Mirror editor tweeted: “As @Cristiano scores 3 goals & provides a brilliant assist for Mane, whilst looking fitter & hungrier than ever, a reminder that Erik ‘I’m a genius, just ask me’ Ten Hag deemed him surplus to requirements for a Manchester United team which can’t hit a barn door.”
Man Utd's poor start
Man Utd enjoyed a fortuitous win over Wolves on the opening day of the Premier League, winning 1-0, before they suffered a 2-0 loss to Tottenham in their second league match.

The second-half, in particular, was widely condemned as a poor showing, even by Ten Hag himself, who blasted his side’s lack of running in the game.

Ronaldo was axed by Man Utd last year after he featured in a broadcast interview with Morgan. He criticised the club and the manager, believing that he was almost duped into coming back under false pretences from Juventus. The club took action in the days after his bombshell show with Morgan and tore his Old Trafford contract up.
Ronaldo then went on to join Al-Nassr to become the highest-paid player in the world.
