How Erik ten Hag PREVENTED Man Utd transfer
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has praised Erik ten Hag for helping him turn his Manchester United career around.
It wasn’t long ago that the right-back look destined to leave Old Trafford, having flattered to deceive following his £50m move from Crystal Palace in 2019.
But Wan-Bissaka has been a player transformed under Ten Hag, who has just celebrated 12 months in charge of the 13-time Premier League champions.

In an interview with Man Utd’s official website, Wan-Bissaka explained the impact Ten Hag has had on his performances. He said:
“It’s been good, especially for myself. I’ve learned a lot under him – and there’s more to come, more improvement to be done. So, yeah, I’m happy. He’s helped the team; you can see the team’s transition has changed.
Speaking about the specific areas of his game which have improved by working with Ten Hag, Wan-Bissaka added:
“On the pitch, [Ten Hag has helped me with] just where to be at certain times; be more aggressive going forward; and just how I can help the team.”
And Wan-Bissaka, 25, is determined to keep progressing personally with the Dutchman at the helm. He continued:
“I think before, it was just [a case of] being left to play the game. But since I’ve been under him, the manager has taught me a lot. And you just want to improve more and keep learning more, especially from someone like him – so I’ve enjoyed that.”
