Man Utd’s third kit launch drops Amrabat transfer hint as Juventus step up interest
Manchester United have dropped a major transfer hint over the future of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat in their third kit launch – and it is not likely to be something that fans appreciate.
Man Utd have been pursuing a deal for a central midfielder since the start of the transfer window, though it is only now that manager Erik ten Hag has secured the services of Mason Mount, goalkeeper Andre Onana and striker Rasmus Hojlund that he has turned his focus towards the 26-year-old.
It appears, though, that Manchester United might miss out on the World Cup hero – at least if their photoshoot for their 2023/24 third kit is anything to go by.

Man Utd need to raise funds – as well as create space in their squad – if Amrabat is to join the club this summer.
It had been thought that selling fellow central midfielders Scott McTominay and Fred would be the logical way of doing this.
McTominay had been linked with a move to West Ham, which has gone quiet in recent days, while Fred has been linked with a string of clubs, including Fulham and Galatasaray. Indeed, Fabrizio Romano has even given a “100% guarantee” that the Brazil international will leave the club this summer.
However, both players have been pictured in the promotional shoot for the third kit. If a transfer for either was imminent, this would be an unusual move.

Juventus put Amrabat top of transfer shortlist
Juventus, meanwhile, are stepping up their interest in Amrabat.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Fiorentina star has been moved to the top of their shortlist and head coach Max Allegri wants to sign the player at all costs.
Like Man Utd, though, Juventus can only raise the estimated €25 million plus bonuses it will take to complete a transfer for Amrabat if they make sales, suggesting that this saga has not reached its end yet.
