The 2023-24 summer transfer window is hotting up and clubs across the world are seeking to finalise their business ahead of Deadline Day on 1 September.

Chelsea and Manchester City both completed deals on 24 August - for Deivid Washington and Jeremy Doku respectively - although Pep Guardiola's side also saw Aymeric Laporte depart for the Saudi Pro League.

Arsenal's Kieran Tierney looks set to finally leave the club this window, while Manchester United have two names on their goalkeeper shortlist as they narrow their focus on signing a back-up for Andre Onana.

Furthermore, on the continent, Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on Randal Kolo Muani and Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out any more Real Madrid arrivals.

Arsenal Transfer News

* Real Sociedad are close to an agreement to sign Kieran Tierney on loan for the 2023-24 season. There will be no buy option, but Arsenal will receive a loan fee and won't have to pay his wages (David Ornstein, The Athletic).

* Arsenal are pushing to sign Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati amid his uncertain Blaugrana future (FootballTransfers EXCLUSIVE).

* Arsenal and Monaco have reached an agreement for Folarin Balogun to join the Ligue 1 club for €45m, including add-ons, this summer (Fabrice Hawkins, RMC Sport).

* The Gunners have four names on their list to replace the injured Jurrien Timber, including Galatasaray's Victor Nelsson (Rudy Galetti).

* Arsenal have set themselves the ambitious target of raising £100m from sales in the final few days of the window. To do this, as many as eight players could leave the Emirates before 2 September (Daily Mail).

* Saudi Pro League side Al-Fateh are prepared to sign wantaway Gunners star Nicolas Pepe (L'Equipe).

Man Utd Transfer News

* Manchester United continue to see Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo as their leading target before the end of the transfer window, but a move for the defender is not yet close (FootballTransfers EXCLUSIVE).

* Man Utd Women have rejected a world-record approach for goalkeeper Mary Earps following her performances at the Women’s World Cup (Sky Sports).

* Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos has received an official offer from Man Utd. He could sign a contract until 2028 on a deal worth around €15m (Florian Plettenberg).

* However, it comes after news the Red Devils will sign Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce to become their backup goalkeeper this season (Yagiz Sabancuolglu).

* Fiorentina director Joe Barone has spoken out about Sofyan Amrabat's potential move to Man Utd. He said: "Sofyan is working separately, we have not yet received an offer and if we do, then we will evaluate it. If there are players who are not happy, let them come out and talk to us and we’ll try to make them happy" (Sky Sport Italia).

* Man Utd are set to sell Eric Bailly to Marseille after all, after the French club U-turned on the Ivorian fllowing the replacement of Igot Tudor with Marcelino as manager (Sky Sports).

* An 'unnamed Albanian club' have registered interest in signing Mason Greenwood, following news that he will leave Man Utd by mutual consent (TalkSPORT).

* Man Utd are close to agreeing a one-year contract for Jonny Evans. The defender has been training with his former club since leaving Leicester in July and is set to sign a deal at Old Trafford (Telegraph).

* Ipswich Town have signed Man Utd defender Brandon Williams on a season-long loan deal (Ipswich Town).

* Noam Emeran has officially departed Manchester United, and Donny van de Beek played a vital role in sealing his exit, with the Dutch midfielder speaking well of FC Groningen - Emeran's new club (FC Groningen).

Chelsea Transfer News

* Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has emerged as a possible candidate to replace the outgoing Benjamin Pavard at Bayern Munich (Florian Plettenburg).

* Jose Mourinho's Roma are now in pole position to sign Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku as the Blues continue their attempts to offload the Belgian (Telegraph).

* However, the Blues are increasingly open to a loan move for Lukaku if no sale can be agreed (David Ornstein, The Athletic).

* Chelsea are set to loan out Andrey Santos to Nottingham Forest for the 2023-24 season after the summer arrivals of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia (The Times).

* Chelsea have completed the signing of Brazilian forward Deivid Washington from Santos (Chelsea).

* The 18-year-old will cost an initial €16m, with €4m in add-ons (Fabrizio Romano).

Liverpool Transfer News

* Al-Ittihad have a concrete interest in signing Mohamed Salah from Liverpool (David Ornstein, The Athletic).

* However, Liverpool's stance is that the Egyptian is not for sale (David Ornstein, The Athletic).

* Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie (David Lynch).

* Liverpool also plan to add another midfielder before the transfer window shuts, but Crystal Palace are holding out for £70 million for Cheick Doucoure (Dom Smith, Evening Standard).

Man City Transfer News

* Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Belgian winger Jeremy Doku from Rennes. City have paid €60m for the 21-year-old (Man City).

* It comes after FootballTransfers' exclusive stories on Man City closing in on the Rennes star and Kevin de Bruyne's role in the transfer.

* Crystal Palace have priced England midfielder Eberechi Eze at a minimum of €81.5m (£70m) as Man City eye a move (Evening Standard).

* Man City's formal opening bid for Matheus Nunes was €55m, but that fee wasn't enough for Wolves to accept (Fabrizio Romano).

* Bernardo Silva's new contract at Man City, which runs until 2026, has a €58m (£50m) release clause included (Revelo).

* Al-Nassr have completed the signing of Aymeric Laporte from Man City (Al-Nassr).

Barcelona Transfer News

* Barcelona have tied Marc Andre ter Stegen down to a new five-year contract (FC Barcelona).

* Barcelona head coach Xavi has asked the club to make an effort to sign Giovani Lo Celso before the transfer window closes (Javi Miguel).

* Barcelona target Bernardo Silva has a €58m (£50m) release clause included in his new contract at Man City, which runs until 2026 (Revelo).

Real Madrid Transfer News

* Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out more Real Madrid transfers this summer. Speaking ahead of Real's match against Celta Vigo, Ancelotti said: "I 100% rule out any arrivals before the end of the transfer window. I think we have completed the squad, all the players we have are focused on this season."

* There will be no major players leaving either, with Ancelotti ruling out the sale of Luka Modric amid Saudi interest. "Luka has already decided to stay here," he said.

* Crystal Palace are plotting a shock move for Eden Hazard, who was recently freed by Real Madrid (Steve Kay, FootballTransfers exclusive).

PSG Transfer News

* PSG and Eintracht Frankfurt are optimistic of reaching an agreement that will see Randal Kolo Muani join the Parisians before the transfer window shuts (Fabrizio Romano).

* Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out more Real Madrid transfers this summer, meaning Kylian Mbappe will not join Los Blancos this window. Speaking ahead of Real's match against Celta Vigo, Ancelotti said: "I 100% rule out any arrivals before the end of the transfer window. I think we have completed the squad, all the players we have are focused on this season."

* Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has emerged as a possible candidate to replace the outgoing Benjamin Pavard at Bayern Munich (Florian Plettenburg).

* Daniel Peretz's medical at Bayern is scheduled for today. The 23-year-old Maccabi Tel Aviv goalkeeper will join the Bavarians for around €5m.
