Unwanted Man Utd defender in SHOCK talks with Premier League rival
Fulham have offered a Premier League escape route for one of Manchester United's forgotten men.
Eric Bailly has been relegated far down the pecking order at Old Trafford and does not look to be in contention for a regular first-team place during the 2023-24 season.
The defender spent the entirety of the last campaign on loan at Marseille, and did not even make the bench for United's season-opening win at home to Wolves on Monday.

Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof all sit in front of Bailly, who could fall even further out of favour should the Red Devils complete the signing of Jonny Evans.
A potential way out of that nightmare has now emerged, however.
Bailly's way out
The Daily Mail reports that Fulham have opened talks with Bailly with an eye to a transfer, after previous negotiations with Al-Nassr failed to prosper.
Should he agree terms with the Londoners, it is believed that United would be willing to release the defender from the final year of his contract in order to facilitate his departure.
Bailly arrived at United in 2016 from Villarreal and has made a total of 113 appearances for the club - though the last of those came almost two years ago in December 2021, in a 3-1 victory over Burnley.
