Arsenal scouting SHOCK wonderkid duo

Arsenal will reportedly send scouts to watch Reading duo Caylan Vickers and Tyler Bindon in their EFL Trophy fixture against Exeter City on Tuesday night.
The Gunners have instructed scouts to keep a close eye on Vickers and Bindon (both 18), according to the Express, as they look to strengthen the youngsters at Mikel Arteta’s disposal.
Both players have been given chances to impress at Reading this season, with Vickers making nine appearances so far this campaign and Bindon making four.

Vickers is an attacker who can play as a centre forward or an attacking midfielder and he has scored one goal and provided two assists in just six starts in all competitions this term.
His goal was a late winner in a 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers this weekend, while his assists were notched against Cheltenham Town and Millwall.
As for Bindon, he is a central defender with three starts during the 2023-24 campaign so far.

Vickers has come through Reading’s youth academy, while Bindon, a USA U19 international, joined from LAFC this summer.
Arsenal scouts have been sent to watch the pair during their EFL Trophy tie against Exeter, with the young duo set to be eager to impress.

Arsenal are set to play their first Champions League fixture since 2017 when they face PSV Eindhoven this week.
The Gunners will be able to call on the services of summer signing Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and David Raya, although Jurrien Timber is not available for selection.
The Dutchman was omitted from Arsenal’s Champions League squad for the 2023-24 group stages after he suffered an ACL injury on his Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest in August.
In total, Mikel Arteta’s side spent €231.6 million on their new signings during the 2023 summer transfer window.
If they do pursue moves for Vickers or Bindon, they would likely join Arsenal’s U21 squad, rather than the first-team.
