Arsenal could save Everton from January transfer woe

Everton may be forced to sell Jordan Pickford if the proposed 777 Partners takeover is blocked.
Current Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri has agreed to sell the Merseyside club for over £500 million, according to reports, but he is worried that the Premier League, FA and Financial Conduct Authority may block the takeover, according to The Mirror.
His concerns have risen due to a worrying financial situation at the club, with Moshiri relying on loans to pay rising monthly losses.

As a result, they may be forced to offload some of their biggest stars if the takeover does not happen, as per The Mirror.
Pickford most certainly falls into this category, along with Belgian midfielder Amadou Onana and English forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Everton also saw Alex Iwobi depart for Fulham on Transfer Deadline Day.
While news that Pickford may have to be sold will come as a crushing blow for Sean Dyche, he could be lended a huge helping hand by Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

Aaron Ramsdale to Everton?
David Raya’s loan from Brentford raised massive question marks over Aaron Ramsdale’s future at Arsenal and those queries have only intensified over the past week, as Raya has started the past three games for the Gunners.
As a result, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are both monitoring his situation at Arsenal, according to The Daily Mail, as both clubs eye a possible move for the 25-year-old.
However, if Ramsdale is allowed to leave, then Arteta will likely want to avoid sending him to a direct rival, be that in the Premier League or the Champions League.
While Chelsea are currently miles behind Arsenal in the English top flight, their young squad should come good in the coming years and so Arteta wouldn’t want Ramsdale joining the Blues.
But, a six-month loan move to Everton, if Pickford is sold in January, could be a good option.
Dyche would be able to replace one England goalkeeper with another as Everton look to achieve survival, Arsenal would avoid a potentially uneasy goalkeeper situation and Ramsdale would be given regular minutes to ensure he is included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2024.
