'Shambolic' - Twitter reacts to Kai Havertz's performance vs Man Utd
Kai Havertz has endured a difficult start to life at Arsenal following his €75 million transfer from Chelsea, and Twitter users have taken to the platform to criticise his performance against Manchester United.
The Germany international missed a guilt-edged chance in the first-half, in which he failed to make proper contact with the ball, gave the ball away for Marcus Rashford's opener and was adjudged to make dived for a second-half penalty by VAR. He was replaced in the 76th minute.
Mikel Arteta has persisted with using Havertz in a left central midfield role, with the former Chelsea man replacing Granit Xhaka's position in the starting XI following the Swiss' move to Bayer Leverkusen.

The 24-year-old played mostly as a striker at Chelsea, but has been utilised in a deeper role so far at the Emirates.
Arteta recently publicly backed Havertz, stating in an interview: "The people who love the club and love our players, give him love." However, the former Leverkusen star has faced serious backlash on social media following his start to life at Arsenal.
That continued thanks to his display against Erik ten Hag's Man Utd.

Arsenal are gonna win this & I do think Arteta is a top manager but sorry, sooner or later he’s gonna realize that Kai Havertz is playing against him.

Kai Havertz isn’t playing badly, he’s just playing like Kai Havertz. He will probably have 1 good week this season, but this is what you’re paying for majority of time.

Kai Havertz will have occasional good moments, but he will also have very costly moments. Interesting to see how the Mikel Arteta experiment plays out. #ARSMUN
