Chelsea ready to HIJACK Moises Caicedo move after Liverpool make record bid
Chelsea are prepared to raise their offer for Moises Caicedo in a late bid to beat Liverpool to the midfielder.
On Thursday night, Liverpool made a bid of £110 million to Brighton for the player, which was accepted.
Everything is set for a move to Anfield for the player, but Chelsea are not giving up - the club are hoping to strike a deal with Brighton at a higher price.

Indeed, Chelsea has not given up its pursuit of Caicedo, who has been their top target all summer.
The Guardian reports that the side is willing to bid more than Liverpool’s £110 million to snatch Caicedo from Liverpool.
The London side had been the frontrunners throughout the entire window, but they were caught off-guard after Brighton made a deadline on Thursday, with Liverpool making the highest bid. The general feeling is that the saga is not over, and there could be another twist yet.
Caicedo was in London along with his agent, and at the time, it was believed that he would favour a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea needs to strengthen in midfield after the club moved on the likes of Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Mateo Kovacic this window.
The Caicedo saga continues
They are, at this present moment, struggling in their attempts to bring in Caicedo, while it is believed that Tyler Adams from Leeds will be secured for £20 million.
Their other target, Romeo Lavia, remains a target, but the Saints have held firm in their £50 million asking price for the teenager so far.

The Blues also missed out on Manuel Ugarte, who opted to sign for Paris Saint-Germain from Sporting Lisbon.
Liverpool, who face Chelsea on Sunday, are looking to bring in fresh faces for midfield, too - after Jordan Henderson, James Milner, and Fabinho left the club.
They have bought Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig.
