Chelsea give Mudryk ASTONISHING instruction
Mykhailo Mudryk seemingly can't catch a break at Chelsea and it has now been revealed that even such trivial things as his gym habits are being criticised by the club.
The Ukrainian arrived, through no fault of his own, to massive fanfare at Stamford Bridge after Todd Boehly and company decided to shell out a fortune on the winger in order to beat Arsenal to his signature. The fee in question can reportedly rise to as high as €100 million.
This has meant that expectations of the 22-year-old have been sky-high and he has thus far, unsurprisingly, been unable to live up to the hype. He failed to get on the scoresheet for the Blues last season and was embroiled in off-pitch controversies like that time a gym influencer hit out at him over an Instagram post.

This summer was supposed to be a reset, a fresh start, and it looked promising at first. Mudryk impressed in pre-season, but any excitement has already dissipated just a few games into the campaign. Chelsea are languishing in 12th after four games having only recorded four points thus far and the Ukrainian has barely featured due to fitness issues.
Tone down gym work
Now, The Athletic has revealed that Mudryk is not having an easy time behind the scenes at Chelsea either. It is claimed that the 22-year-old is not trusted by new head coach Mauricio Pochettino yet as illustrated by the Blues' 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Before turning to Mudryk, the Argentine manager brought on Noni Madueke and Cole Palmer despite the fact that the former did not have a pre-season and that the latter had only arrived mere days earlier following his move from Manchester City.

It is also stated that Mudryk has been given the odd instruction to tone down his gym work because the feeling is that he is overdoing it.
