Jadon Sancho's next club betting odds: Man Utd star still likely to stay beyond January
The saga surrounding Jadon Sancho and Manchester United seems to be escalating daily, and after each emerging report, it becomes increasingly clear that a change of scenery is the only possible outcome for the 23-year-old Englishman. However, even though the transfer window is closed, and Sancho has to wait until January for such a move, the bookmakers offer interesting insight into this whole transfer gossip with their betting odds regarding the player's next club.
The latest reports indicate that Sancho's current situation has led to his exclusion from all first-team facilities, encompassing the dressing rooms and communal dining areas. Presently, he is not just training but also eating with academy players, with very limited interaction permitted within the senior squad.
Additionally, Sancho has reportedly received advice from fellow England teammates to extend an apology to Ten Hag to preserve his future at Old Trafford. Even The Professional Footballers Association (PFA) has stepped in, offering its assistance to mediate between Sancho and Ten Hag, seeking a path to mend their fractured relationship.
So, even though it is always possible for two parties to become reconciled even in a situation like this, it is still quite hard to see Sancho become the expected key figure in the Man Utd squad. Therefore, the most likely option here is that the Red Devils will have to cut their losses at some point on the ex-Borussia Dortmund star, whom they acquired for a whopping £73 million in 2021.
The media has, of course, followed the Sancho storyline very closely, and each expert probably has their own views regarding the possible outcomes for the situation. In addition, even the betting operators are in the mix as they are predicting the most plausible scenarios for Sancho's next club as we are waiting on the January transfer window.

As the odds suggest, the bookmakers do not see Sancho moving on the January transfer window either since staying at Man Utd is the most likely scenario from their point of view.
Saudi Arabia, Germany, Italy or...?
However, even betting sites have mixed views regarding Sancho's future. For example, BetVictor prices Sancho to make a deal with any Italian club at 6/1, the second shortest odds they provide after the 'Any Saudi Club' option (3/1), even though Paddy Power does not see Seria A clubs as a plausible destination for the England forward.
- Any Saudi Club: 3/1 (probability: 25%)
- Any Italian Club: 6/1 (14.3%)
- Any German Club: 8/1 (11.1%)
- Any Spanish Club: 16/1 (5.9%)
- Any French Club: 16/1 (5.9%)
- Any Dutch Club: 16/1 (5.9%)

AS Roma is the most probable target of the Italian clubs, as the reports say manager Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing Sancho to Rome in January. However, after missing out on the Champions League yet again, it is more than unclear whether or not "I Giallorossi" could actually afford to acquire Sancho.
That said, the most probable targets for Sancho are the following clubs.
Saudi Pro League Clubs
In addition to being one of the most expensive English players in football transfer history, Sancho is also one of the highest earners in the Premier League. So, any club trying to acquire the English forward must also have room in their wage budget, even if Sancho agrees to a pay cut. This is precisely why Saudi Clubs have been predicted the most probable outcomes in this saga, as these clubs are clearly willing to spend enormous amounts of money to bolster their squads, both the transfer fee and wage-wise.
Sancho's own preference comes into play here as well. By moving to Saudi Arabia, the Englishman will definitely earn way more than in any other European club. However, if Sancho is looking for a critical role in the European TOP5 leagues and possibly some UCL appearances, he will have to cut his wage demands drastically.
Dortmund
During his four-year stint with Borussia Dortmund, Sancho became one of the most wanted young superstars of the game, and 38 scored goals with 51 assists in just 108 Bundesliga appearances truly tells what caliber of a player he can really be when it all clicks. The reports say Dortmund is interested in acquiring Sancho in the coming winter. So, if the 23-year-old just feels like he could repeat this same magic in these familiar surroundings, this move could be the most logical solution for the player himself.
In August 2022, we saw a similar case with Timo Werner, who moved back to his previous club, RB Leipzig, to revitalize his career after a lackluster two-year stint with Chelsea. The German striker scored nine goals in the Bundesliga last season, only one tally short of his Premier League totals.
Newcastle
According to the analysts at sportsbettingapp.com, Newcastle is one of the best wild card picks for wagering on Sancho's next club, especially with the current 16/1 odds. They clearly have the money in the bank to make such a move, and it has already been reported that Sancho has been on the manager Eddie Howe's radar for a while now. In January 2023, The Magpies acquired Anthony Gordon from Everton for a £45m fee in somewhat of a similar situation, where the player, with question marks regarding his overall conduct and attitude, had fallen out of favor in his club.
However, as said earlier, Sancho would need to accept a significant pay cut to join the Magpies, as the club operates with quite a strict wage structure. However, if the Englishman wants to get his career back on track playing in the Premier League, Newcastle sounds a bit more plausible than Tottenham Hotspur or any other club.
