Liverpool finally get their man as Gravenberch signs from Bayern
Liverpool have moved to strengthen their midfield with a big signing on transfer deadline day.
The Merseysiders confirmed on Friday that Ryan Gravenberch will be moving to Anfield from Bayern Munich.
According to reports, the 21-year-old Netherlands international will join for an initial €40m, with an extra €5m in bonuses and add-ons in the future.

Gravenberch is a long-time target of the Reds, but the deal seemed in doubt earlier on deadline day before they finally managed to strike an agreement in the closing hours.
"Liverpool FC have completed the signing of midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich on a long-term contract, subject to a work permit," the club confirmed on its official website.
"Netherlands international Gravenberch becomes the fourth new arrival of the summer for the Reds after undergoing a medical and finalising the deal at the AXA Training Centre today."

Gravenberch delighted to be a Red
The player stated: “I’m very happy. Very happy that the deal is done and I’m finally here.
“If you see it from the outside, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. Also the fans, the stadium, I think everything from the outside is top. So that’s why [it was the right club].”
Gravenberch arrives at Anfield with a burgeoning reputation having shined at Ajax, Bayern and the Netherlands national team.
The midfielder has already racked up 137 club appearances at senior level, and has won titles in the Netherlands and Germany while also being awarded the Johan Cruyff Award as the Dutch footballer of the year in 2020-21.
