Liverpool fans shouldn't be worried about losing Jurgen Klopp because his 'perfect' successor is already plying his trade in the Premier League.

The Reds boss is seemingly linked with the German national team job every other year and this has once again been the case following Hansi Flick's sacking in the wake of his side's 4-1 humiliation by a wonderful Japan side.

While the German's agent was quick to dismiss the rumours that Klopp could take over the national side, questions about his future have once again arisen. The 56-year-old won't be Liverpool's boss forever and there was already speculation that he could consider leaving last season given the poor campaign his side endured.

Thanks to fresh recruitment, Klopp's Liverpool look reinvigorated - and so does the man himself - but the speculation refuses to go away. Former Reds player Danny Murphy, however, believes that there is no reason to be worried because Liverpool wouldn't have to look far to find an ideal successor.

What did Murphy say?

Speaking to talkSPORT, Murphy said: "I've got the answer, so I'm not worried about [Klopp leaving]. I think [Roberto] de Zerbi is perfect. He'll be ready then."

"I think he plays great football, he looks a strong character, he's learning his trade in this league with Brighton and doing it superbly well. I don't see a better candidate. Things change in football really quickly," Murphy continued, "so, the flavour of the month might be someone else this time next year. But I think he's the real deal."

"There is something about him. After meeting him as well, [I can say] he's got real gravitas. A real presence. And I love the way his teams play. But I can't see Klopp going for some time yet. He's got this new influx of players, and he seems enthused by Liverpool's start and the promising start of some of the new signings."
