Manchester United are being ridiculed on social media after having had to release yet another 'club statement.'

The Red Devils are currently in turmoil. All the enthusiasm about their successful summer business has dissipated after poor on-field performances and several high-profile off-field issues.

The situations surrounding Mason Greenwood, Antony and now Jadon Sancho have forced Man Utd to issue several public statements, which has seen the club branded as 'Statement FC,' a term now even trending on Twitter.

While the allegations against Antony and Greenwood are no laughing matter, the drama surrounding Sancho could have been handled far more delicately and the public ridicule easily avoided.

In their latest statement, Man Utd announced that "Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue" after his public spat with head coach Erik ten Hag.
