OFFICIAL: Man Utd seal WORLD-RECORD deal

Manchester United have struck what is believed to be a world-record sponsorship deal that will come into effect next season.
The Red Devils have announced that they have signed a new front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with US-based technology company Qualcomm. The firm's Snapdragon brand will replace TeamViewer on the front of United's kits from the 2024/25 season onwards.
The club did not disclose the details of the agreement, but The Athletic has previously revealed that the deal will be worth £60 million per year, which people close to the club believe makes it the biggest shirt sponsorship arrangement in history, beating Real Madrid's Emirates deal.

According to the above-mentioned report, the contract will run for a minimum of three years and it will replace United's current sponsorship deal with TeamViewer.
United and TeamViewer
The Manchester club and the German tech company signed a five-year contract in 2021, but already back in December, United hinted that they could back out of the deal when they announced that they had reached a "mutually beneficial agreement" that allows them to buy back the rights to their shirt sponsorship.
Given that the agreement with TeamViewer was signed at the height of COVID-19, United were keen to strike a better deal in a "normalised market," which they have now done.
The Red Devils have been promoting Snapdragon for some time, so the new deal which will see its logo grace the club's shirt is seen as an "expansion" of the previous agreement with Qualcomm.

"Manchester United has agreed to an expanded strategic collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., that will see the Snapdragon brand displayed on the front of the club’s famous shirt," the club announced.
"Qualcomm Technologies is already a global partner of Manchester United, promoting its Snapdragon brand."
"Under the expanded agreement, Snapdragon will become Manchester United’s front-of-shirt partner from the start of the 2024/25 season, featuring on the home, away and third kits of the men’s and women’s teams."
