Sancho DELETES social media post as Man Utd exit talk continues
Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho has deleted his social media post responding to Erik ten Hag’s quotes about his lack of effort in training.
Sancho, 23, was excluded from Man Utd’s squad to face Arsenal before the September international break, with Ten Hag revealing in his post-match press conference that the Englishman’s performances in training were the reason for his exclusion.
That caused a stir online, which was exacerbated when Sancho hit back on social media, posting on Twitter: “Please don’t believe everything you read!

“I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!
“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
The pair reportedly held crisis talks this weekend and Sancho has now deleted his social media post. It was previously pinned on his Twitter account, but he has now removed the post.

Sancho to leave Man Utd?
Sport Bild have reported that Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on Sancho’s situation at Man Utd, but are unlikely to make a move due to the finances involved with such a transfer.
The Bundesliga side are interested in re-signing the former England international, who has lost his place in the Three Lions set-up since moving to Old Trafford, but his salary is simply too much for BVB to afford.
Furthermore, the German side reportedly don’t have the funds to pay the required transfer fee either. Dortmund spent €62.7m this summer, with Felix Nmecha, Marcel Sabitzer, Niclas Fullkrug, Julian Hettwer and Paul-Philipp Besong joining for a fee.
In addition, the Daily Star have reported that Sancho is expected to leave Man Utd on loan in January before aiming for a permanent exit during the 2024 summer transfer window.
