Man Utd must 'sell dud' after Amrabat signing

Manchester United have been implored to sell Scott McTominay following their acquisition of Soyfan Amrabat.
Man Utd landed the signing of the Fiorentina midfielder on deadline day and it means that McTominay will have to fight for his place at the club. West Ham had put in an offer for the Scotsman, but it was rejected. But pundit Frank McAvennie has said, via FootballFanCast, that the club must move on the Man Utd midfielder.
He said: "McTominay is a good player but not for Man United", with his form at international level - for whom he has scored five goals in just his last four outings - showcasing that he could well have blossomed elsewhere had a summer deal been completed, even if he is perhaps not up to scratch for the lofty demands of the Red Devils.”

Amrabat has joined on an initial loan deal, and the club can make it a permanent transfer if they active the player’s clause of £25million.
Erik ten Hag’s transfer plans
Erik ten Hag had hoped to sign Amrabat for months and he eventually got his way. The Dutchman brought in Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund, too. The likes of Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, and McTominay still remain at the club, though the coach asked the side to sell them.

It’s been a testing start for Man Utd, who have lost one and won two of their opening Premier League matches.
The club have looked a bit iffy in parts, particularly in their 1-0 win over Wolves at Old Trafford, where they were outplayed for the most part.
Nottingham Forest also went ahead by two goals before Man Utd managed to turn it around - the club have not made things easy for themselves.
