Paris Saint-Germain underwent something of a squad revolution in the summer. Megastars like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Marco Verratti were moved on, while a new emphasis was put on signing less flashy names that, it is hoped, can work together more as a team rather than individuals.

This strategy follows the statements made by Nasser Al-Khelaifi in the wake of the contract row with star man Kylian Mbappe that no PSG player is "bigger than the club." So far, however, it must be said that this new policy has yet to bear fruit.

'Eat s***'

The Chelsea veteran liked a post that tore into the Parisian's decision to get rid of Messi, Neymar and Verratti in one summer, with the Argentine World Cup winner leaving for Inter Miami on a free transfer, while Neymar and Verratti headed to the Middle East, to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, respectively.

"You have to eat s*** to sell this trio," the post liked by Silva read. "You have to be stupid or a sellout! And the worst thing is that this s*** is resonating around here!"

"A bunch of motivated weaklings with microphones and talking like scholars, spouting wisdom. Those three can play until they're 50! Don't compare a truck full of watermelons to a f***ing Lamborghini! Am I clear?"

This move by Silva certainly won't go down well with his former club, for which he played in more than 200 games across eight years.
