The fastest player in the Premier League
Frank Lampard has hailed the abilities of Mykhailo Mudryk as the big-money Chelsea signing finally scored his first goal for the club.
Mudryk opened the scoring for the Blues in the 2-0 win over Fulham on Monday evening, breaking his Chelsea duck almost 10 months after joining the club.
The wideman joined Chelsea for €100 million in January after the Blues hijacked Arsenal's deal for the Ukrainian winger.

However, Mudryk has flopped badly at Stamford Bridge up until the game against Fulham.
He has managed no goals and just two assists in 24 appearances amidst a string of poor performances.

But he finally showed what he could do against Fulham, and Lampard believes in the potential of the Ukrainian - labelling him as the fastest player in the Premier League.
What did Lampard say about Mudryk?
“Pace is a huge strength and technical ability when he dribbles and his finishing. We used to train a lot and he’s a compulsive finisher, in a positive way, he’s out after training and he wants to shoot. He’s a very good finisher and I know we haven’t seen that but you have to come back and say that this young boy has moved into the Premier League and it’s different,” Lampard told Monday Night Football.
“The areas in which I have seen him – at Everton we actually wanted to buy him, it was probably never going to happen – and he moved on to Chelsea, but I have seen a lot of him and when he is wide it is natural you get the ball to his feet but now people are very aware of this from him, the pace, and they will try and stop him. Coming off the line it’s more difficult for him.
“He’s lightning, he can probably outrun anyone in the league, end product – could it be better? Probably, yeah, but that’s typical for a young player.”
Lampard coached Mudryk at the end of last season when the England legend was filling in as caretaker manager at Chelsea following the sacking of Graham Potter.
Chelsea have moved up to 11th in the Premier League table after their win against Fulham.
