Romano reveals Chelsea's Lukaku asking price
Chelsea have already set Romelu Lukaku's asking price for when he returns from his loan next summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are desperate to get the Belgian off the books. Indeed, over the summer, it was one of Chelsea's priorities to permanently offload Lukaku, but striking a deal proved impossible.
Both Inter and Juventus were not willing - or able - to match the London club's asking price for the out-of-favour striker and instead offered loan and swap deals, which Chelsea, in turn, did not deem agreeable.

As the hours in the transfer window ticked down, the Blues were forced to yield, securing a loan - on favourable conditions for themselves - for Lukaku to Serie A side Roma. Back in Italy, the 30-year-old has started like a house on fire, already netting seven goals in all competitions.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has revealed what it will take for Roma - or any other club - to sign the Belgian next summer.
What did Romano say?
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the transfer expert said: "What I want to tell you about Romelu Lukaku is important information because from what I'm hearing, there is a kind of 'clause'...an exit agreement between Romelu Lukaku's camp and Chelsea for the summer 2024."
"So, there is already a fixed fee for Romelu Lukaku to leave Chelsea in the summer 2024. This was part of the discussion they had in recent times after he joined Roma and Romelu Lukaku will be made available in the summer 2024 for a fee of around £37 million."

"So, any club can go there [and] decide to pay that fee. Chelsea have no intention to spend the whole summer negotiating again as happened this summer with Inter, with Roma, with other clubs for Romelu Lukaku."
