Victor Osimhen is 'keen' on a Premier League move, but he is apparently not Mauricio Pochettino's 'dream' signing, according to reports.

The Osimhen Tiktok drama at Napoli appears to have come at a very opportune time for Premier League clubs. During the summer, it looked nigh on impossible for any of the big hitters to make a move for the Nigerian goal machine as his club demanded an extortionate amount of money for his services.

However, with the reigning Italian champions mocking their star striker on social media and the player threatening legal action, the chances of him potentially moving on in January or the summer are increasing exponentially. In fact, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Osimhen is 'keen' on a Premier League move.

This seems like good news for Chelsea, who are said to be still in the market for a number nine given Nicolas Jackson's early-season struggles in front of goal.

Indeed, some reports claim that the Blues are the 'best-placed' club to make a move for Osimhen, but if one outlet is to be believed, head coach Mauricio Pochettino would prefer a different striker.

Chelsea back in for Vlahovic?

According to Fichajes, Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus is the Argentine's 'dream' signing. With the Blues boss becoming increasingly involved in the club's transfer business, the Spanish outlet claims that "he has a name in mind that could be the solution to Chelsea's problems: Dusan Vlahovic."

"It is estimated," the report goes on, "that his transfer would cost around €80 million, a figure that the board is carefully evaluating." Yet the outlet makes no mention of the fact that Chelsea had the opportunity to sign the Serbian striker in the summer for half of that sum.

Juventus had offered Vlahovic as part of a deal that would have seen Romelu Lukaku move to Turin, but while Chelsea were keen for a straight swap, the Bianconeri wanted an additional €40m on top.

Pochettino and the Chelsea board agreed that this wasn't a deal worth doing, so why would they now be keen to splurge €80m on him, even taking their struggles in front of goal into account?
