Liverpool could face Andre issue as Arsenal director spotted at Fluminense
Arsenal director Edu made a trip to Brazil last week and it’s come at a time when rumours have suggested that his side are looking to rival Liverpool to Fluminense midfielder Andre.
Edu made a visit to the Brazilian club amid reports linking the 22-year-old with a move to the Premier League.
The executive made trips to the country ahead of Gabriel Martinelli and Marquinhos joining the north London side.
The former Arsenal player has been using the international break to forge relationships and assess some of the talents on offer at Latin American clubs.

Fluminense's official X account posted images of Edu on Friday at CT Vale das Laranjeiras, their academy training base.
Via a statement on the club's website, Edu said: "I really liked everything presented to us here. It's an impressive piece of work. The atmosphere at CT de Xerem is different."

Andre is one that has been looked at by Liverpool over the summer but ultimately a deal did not take place.
Andre remains in Brazil
The player is focused on seeing out the remainder of the season with his current side but has made no secret of his eventual ambitions of joining a Premier League side in January.
The likes of West Ham, Liverpool, and Fulham all made proposals for the youngster but they could not come to an agreement with Fluminense, who wanted to keep Andre for their Copa Libertadores venture.
The club’s determination to keep hold of their player has paid off, with the side having a final booked with Boca Juniors. The match will take place on November 4.
Arsenal have enjoyed a fine start to life in the Premier League this season - with the Gunners currently sitting in second spot, but are joint on points with rivals Tottenham, who are first.
