Christian Eriksen hints at potential Man Utd exit
Christian Eriksen has opened up on his dissatisfaction over his reduced playtime under Erik ten Hag.
The former Tottenham midfielder joined Manchester United last year as a free agent, following a spell at Brentford.
Eriksen played in 44 matches across the campaign last term, providing ten assists and two goals in all competitions.
But Eriksen’s position seems unstable following the additions of Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat to the side over the summer, with both occupying the same position as the 31-year-old.

The Dane has been on the bench for three consecutive Premier League matches. Plus following the spellbinding display of Scott McTominay in the club’s game against Brentford last weekend, in which the Scotland international netted an injury-time brace, he may see his opportunities reduced even further.
Speaking to Ekstra Bladet, a Danish publication, Eriksen spoke about the challenges currently facing the club “You might want to ask the manager for his opinion. Our defense has suffered due to injuries.”

He then spoke about his playing time under Ten Hag. “Though we’ve conceded more goals than we’d like, my health is in top condition, and I wish to be on the field for every match. If you’ve been keeping tabs on our games, you’d notice that the manager [Ten Hag] prefers a player with a different style than mine.”
Eriksen’s possible exit
Such words could suggest that Eriksen may look for a way out of the side next year when the window opens. Eriksen had a number of clubs speaking to him over joining them last summer, but he ended up joining Man Utd.
The player has been playing more of a deeper role at Ten Hag, despite being ultilised as an attacking midfielder for his previous clubs.
