Ramsdale pokes fun at Raya’s Mudryk gaffe
Aaron Ramsdale has poked fun at goalkeeping rival David Raya following the Spaniard’s mistake against Chelsea.
Raya was at fault for Mykhailo Mudryk’s goal in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, allowing the Ukrainian’s cross to chip him from a narrow angle.
It follows what has been a very difficult start to his Arsenal career for Raya, who has produced a string of poor performances in recent games.

Raya controversially displaced Ramsdale as Arsenal’s number one this season, moving from Brentford on an initial loan deal with the option to make it permanent.
Many feel this decision was unfair as Ramsdale has performed excellently for the Gunners since his switch from Sheffield United in 2021.
Despite losing his place to Raya, the pair reportedly still have a good relationship.

And indeed, there was a light-hearted moment in training on Monday as Ramsdale poked fun at the situation.
As Raya entered the training pitch, Ramsdale ran over to him and joked: "It's alright lads. I'm here. We're together."
Ramsdale has been heavily linked with a January transfer away from Arsenal in order for him to gain regular first-team football.
The goalkeeper is keen to play more given Euro 2024 takes place at the end of the season.
Jordan Pickford remains Gareth Southgate’s first-choice goalkeeper, but Ramsdale’s chances of displacing him will disappear if he is not playing for his club. Even his squad place could be at risk.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has not publicly confirmed Raya as his number one but it is widely accepted that this is the case.
If Raya is to continue to struggle in goal, then there is the chance that Ramsdale could be reinstated.
Arsenal next play on Tuesday away at Sevilla in the Champions League, looking to get back on track after losing their last match against Lens.
