Why Chelsea fans are fuming after Newcastle's game with PSG
Chelsea fans are pulling their hair out in frustration over their recruitment after watching Tino Livramento’s display against Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Blues academy player was one of the standout players for Newcastle in their 1-1 Champions League draw, effectively creating Alexander Isak’s opening goal with a dazzling run across the box.
Livramento, who was named Chelsea’s academy player of the year for the 2020–21 season, could not agree terms with the west London side and eventually moved to Southampton.
But after the Saints’ relegation last term, the full-back made the move to Newcastle in the summer transfer window, in a deal worth an initial £32 million, plus £8 million in add-ons.
And it’s been a superb tenure so far for Livramento, performing highly in each of his 1o appearances for the Magpies.
What have Chelsea fans said?
But this has left a sour taste in the mouth of Chelsea fans, who are rueing the fact their club let him go.
No you don’t understand, it’s a grand strategy only the ownership group understand.

Chelsea and Livramento; how did it end up like this?

Chelsea have sold Lamptey, Livramento and Hall for less than half the price combined, than they paid for Cucurella. Some unreal business that.
