Starting with clubs such as Real Madrid or Manchester City will give you a huge budget in FM24, although most fans of the game prefer starting with a smaller club and helping them rise up the divisions to glory.

Unsurprisingly, it’s Paris Saint-Germain who lead the way for both transfer budget and wage budget of Ligue 1’s biggest clubs. However, their transfer budget of £25.7m is the exact same as AS Monaco’s.

Lyon are a fallen giant in France and their £3m transfer budget reflects that, although it’s far better than Marseille’s mere £0.85m.

Rennes (£0.52m) have the lowest wage budget.
