Juventus are reportedly setting its sights on a loan deal for Manchester United's Jadon Sancho, though there is interest from Borussia Dortmund. The Italian giants are hopeful that the Red Devils will be open to the loan arrangement, providing Sancho with an opportunity for increased playing time and a chance to reignite his form, reports CalcioMercato.

The outlet says that discussions between Juventus and Man Utd have already commenced, with both clubs exploring the possibility of a temporary move for the English winger. Juventus sees Sancho as a potential game-changer for the team, and a move there may offer an opportunity to redeem his playing career.

Sancho has struggled to find the starting XI, after Erik ten Hag froze him out of the side and Juventus believes that a change of scenery and playing style might be the catalyst needed to unlock his full potential.

However, the road to securing Sancho's services is not without its challenges. Borussia Dortmund, where Sancho rose to prominence as one of Europe's most exciting young talents, has also expressed interest in bringing the winger back to Signal Iduna Park.

Sancho has only played 76 minutes this season, appearing last August, and is almost certain to leave in next season.

While a return to the Bundesliga club is what Sancho would rather do, it is thought that there are other options on the table.

What Ten Hag said about Sancho?

Ten Hag said of Sancho’s absence: “I don’t know. I am sitting here. Tomorrow we have a big game, we are going into a new block of games, many games in a condensed programme. I focus on that.”

“I don’t know but, as I say, I don’t think about that. I think about tomorrow. I think about the way the team has to progress. I have a lot to consider to make the right decisions.

“He is not available, so in this moment, he is not important, because he can’t contribute.”
