Will Luis Diaz join Barcelona?
“[The] truth is that I know very little about Barcelona at the moment,” Diaz Sr. said.
“It is true that Luis is a loyal Barcelona fan and it would be his dream to go there. So far I would like to thank Porto and Liverpool for the way they welcomed him and received him.

“Luis is a player who finds it easy to win over because of the way he is, because of his humility, his work, his dedication, he is a very disciplined player, thank God. There would be no problem if Luis came to Barcelona because it is a top team and one of the best in the world.”
Luis Diaz Sr was released by kidnappers earlier this month after spending 13 days in captivity
He had been captured by the guerrilla group National Liberation Army (ELN) at a petrol station in Colombia near the border with Venezuela.
Luis Diaz's mother was also kidnapped but was rescued hours later.
Diaz Jr has 30 goal contributions in 61 games since joining Liverpool from Porto. This included 15 goals and 15 assists in all competitions.
He has played an important role in Liverpool winning the FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield in 2022, as well as reaching the Champions League final.
Diaz has made 14 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season, scoring four goals.
