Ratcliffe and Ten Hag on COLLISION COURSE over Man Utd star
Incoming Manchester United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set for a collision course with manager Erik ten Hag over the future of Jadon Sancho, according to reports.
Ratcliffe is eager for the former Borussia Dortmund star to be brought back into the fold at Old Trafford having been frozen out for the last three months by Ten Hag.
The Dutchman has previously been reticent to work with Sancho, who has been excluded since the end of August.
MAN UTD TAKEOVER LATEST: Ratcliffe announcement update as Arnold to leave
Ten Hag called Sancho out after the winger was excluded from a 3-1 Premier League defeat to Arsenal. He claimed that the player had not worked hard enough in training to justify travelling with the squad.
Following that incident, the 23-year-old took to social media to claim that he has been made a scapegoat by the Man Utd manager. It was ultimately deleted but Sancho has refused to apologise for his actions and as such has not been picked for the team.
The relationship of the pair remains at an impasse, leading to reports that have indicated that Sancho could leave for the Saudi Pro League during the January transfer window.

According to The Mirror, Ratcliffe wants the player brought back into the fold.
It is stated that the English billionaire, who also owns Nice and Lausanne, is plotting a meeting with Ten Hag over the future of Sancho and will urge the former Ajax boss to bring him back to the fold.
How will Ten Hag react to Sancho calls?
Ten Hag is likely to resist such calls, having been publicly slighted by the player. Furthermore, Sancho’s performances on the field have not justified his team selection while there have long been rumours that his discipline and dedication at training have not been what they should be.
Quite how this issue resolves itself is unclear, but while it is a problem that Ten Hag will not be sacked over, it certainly adds to his problems as Man Utd make a slow start to the season after finishing third last term.
