Man Utd’s transfer list for January
Manchester United have put three players on the transfer list for the January transfer window.
The first player is Jadon Sancho, who is certain to leave Man Utd in the winter window after a public fall-out with Ten Hag.
Ten Hag left Sancho out of his 18-man squad for the Premier League match against Arsenal in September, and publicly criticised him for his poor performances in training. This prompted an angry reaction from Sancho immediately after on social media as he denied Ten Hag’s accusations and essentially called him a liar.
Sancho has since been frozen out of the first team, forced to train away from the squad and even deleted from the club WhatsApp group.
He will now certainly leave in January, either on loan or on a permanent deal if someone stumps up the cash. Former club Borussia Dortmund and some Italian teams have been linked with a move in January, with Juventus the most heavily linked.
The second Man Utd player to be transfer listed is Donny van de Beek
He is considered certain to leave the club in January, with a loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt considered as good as done.
Van de Beek was transfer listed during the summer transfer window but failed to secure a move away, despite a bid from Real Sociedad.
But the attacking midfielder will now leave in the January transfer window having barely had a look-in under Ten Hag this season.
He has played just 21 minutes of football across all competitions this season, not starting a game.
He finds himself a new club in January, also with a view for Euro 2024 next summer.
The third transfer listed player is Casemiro, whose exit is now increasingly possible.
Outstanding in his first season at Man Utd, the 31-year-old has found the going more difficult in his second campaign, despite holding down a place as a regular when available under Ten Hag. This has led to questions over whether the player is past his best.
There have also been reports that he has fallen out with Ten Hag, and would like to leave the club.
There is strong interest from Saudi Arabia, and with Casemiro set to turn 32 soon a transfer is now possible in January.
