De Gea receives La Liga interest as Man Utd return proves unlikely
David de Gea is subject to interest from La Liga side Real Betis, according to journalist Rudy Galetti.
De Gea has been without a club since leaving Manchester United on a free transfer in the summer.
Erik ten Hag's side opted to let the Spaniard depart in favour of signing Andre Onana from Champions League finalists Inter Milan.

It was previously reported that De Gea had wanted to sign for a top European club but he may now be open to signing for a slightly lesser team, such as Real Betis.
In fact, Betis would be an excellent move for the Spaniard, as they are sixth in La Liga and are also top of their Europa League group.
The Seville-based club are not currently able to afford De Gea's huge salary, however.
We'll never forget the day David de Gea made 14 saves against Arsenal, including THAT double save to deny Lacazette and Sanzhez. 🥵

They would need to sell Portugal international goalkeeper Rui Silva first, with Benfica, Ajax and Atletico Madrid among the clubs interested in his services.
De Gea to West Ham?
West Ham are interested in offering David de Gea a return to Premier League football, FootballTransfers reported exclusively last month.
The Hammers have spoken to the 33-year-old's representatives regarding an 18-month deal in the January transfer window.
De Gea would replace Alphonse Areola in the starting eleven for David Moyes' side, while Lukasz Fabianski would be allowed to leave East London.
