Romano reveals TRUTH behind Antony exit rumours
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United star Antony is unlikely to leave Old Trafford in January, despite links with a move away from the club.
The Brazilian winger, 23, joined Man Utd for €95 million from Ajax last summer, but he has failed to live up to expectations and is yet to score or assist in 11 appearances so far this campaign.
Furthermore, he was recently suspended by the Red Devils after he was accused of domestic abuse by his former girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin. Antony is now back with the Man Utd first-team, however, and he started their 1-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.

But, his poor form on the pitch and his off-field issues have led to rumours linking Antony with a Man Utd exit in January, with talk of a loan transfer away gathering speed.
However, Romano has played down the chances of Antony leaving Old Trafford this winter.

What has Fabrizio Romano said?
The transfer expert told his YouTube channel: “Many Manchester United fans have been asking me about Antony and if there is some truth in these rumours of a potential loan deal in January to let the player go.
“At the moment I am not aware of any negotiations between Man Utd or any other club for Antony in January.
“At the moment, the situation remains very quiet,” he added. “Man Utd and the player hope to resolve the situation off the pitch as soon as possible because obviously it is going to affect the performances of Antony, this is very human so we can understand that.
“At the same time, they [Man Utd] want to improve the performance as Antony can’t continue like this, he knows that very well. He wants to work hard to improve his performances, so the message is very clear.
“At the moment, they are not planning Antony and Man Utd to part ways in January. For now, the situation remains quiet,” Romano concluded.
