Man Utd transfer target to reject January move ahead of Euro 2024
Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is reportedly prepared to reject a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.
According to 90min, Guehi is primarily focused on making Gareth Southgate's England squad for the European Championship.
And, he feels that staying at Palace, where he is one of the first names on the team sheet, will give him the best chance of achieving that.
The 23-year-old has already made nine appearances for the national team but he is by no means a guarantee to make the cut.
John Stones is the only centre-back that will definitely be on the plane, with Guehi, Harry Maguire, Lewis Dunk, Levi Colwill, Fikayo Tomori and Ben White all vying for the other spots.
But, despite the serious competition, Guehi is in a great position ahead of next summer's tournament.
Since leaving Chelsea in 2021, he has been an integral part of Palace's side and established himself as a top Premier League defender.
He would be wise to stay put, particularly midway through the season, rather than joining Erik ten Hag's disjointed Man Utd side.

Only one player in Europe’s top leagues has scored more than the 27-year-old, who has an astonishing 15 goals in just eight starts this season.
And the Guinea international is believed to have a release clause in his contract worth a modest €17.5 million, making him an appealing option for any side in need of goals.
Guirassy would certainly be open to moving to one of Europe’s elite clubs but his anticipated absence during the Africa Cup of Nations in January could present an issue.
