Todibo emerges as target for Man Utd as Saudi Pro League clubs eye Fernandes and Diallo
Jean-Clair Todibo has emerged as the primary target for Manchester United in the upcoming January transfer window, coinciding with Sir Jim Ratcliffe's acquisition of a 25 per cent stake in the club through Ineos, FootballTransfers is told.
The confirmation of Ratcliffe's purchase is expected this week, prompting speculation of a significant staff reshuffle. The positions of Richard Arnold and John Murtough are uncertain for the coming year.
Despite recent improvements in form, Erik ten Hag's position was always going to be secure as Ratcliffe prefers to settle into his role before implementing any major changes.

Todibo, the Nice defender, is being pursued to reinforce the right side of central defence. Meanwhile, potential approaches are anticipated, with Saudi Arabian clubs expressing interest in Bruno Fernandes as part of their Middle East project. However, there are no ongoing talks, and Fernandes remains content at Old Trafford.
Diallo liked by Pro League
Amad Diallo has caught the attention of the Pro League, but Man Utd are likely to reject any approaches, we understand, particularly given the current performances of Antony and the situation involving Jadon Sancho, the latter of which is expected to be transferred in 2024. However, Man Utd are on the lookout for a right-winger to come in and there have been links to names in Portugal.
Nevertheless, there is an expectation that Raphael Varane will be sold in the summer for a substantial fee, considering he has one year left on his contract.
Casemiro is also likely to leave next year as Ratcliffe aims to reduce the squad's average age and replace high-wage veterans with younger names. While Andre is admired by certain Man Utd executives, any potential deal is contingent on Casemiro's departure, and the club has reached out to Fluminense to inquire about an asking price. Fulham are also in the race for the 22-year-old's signature.
