Mykhailo Mudryk has struggled since joining Chelsea for an initial €70 million from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023.

The Ukraine international was set to sign for Arsenal before Chelsea hijacked the Gunners’ deal and signed a player with Ballon d’Or potential, if Roberto De Zerbi is to be believed.

However, Mudryk has not made a €70m impact at Stamford Bridge yet, although time is on his side given his current Blues contract does not expire until 2031.

Mudryk’s first Chelsea goal didn't come until his 24th appearance for the club, but he is at least off the mark for the west London outfit. Below, FootballTransfers runs through how many goals Mudryk has scored for Chelsea.

How many goals has Mykhailo Mudryk scored for Chelsea?

Mudryk has scored seven goals for Chelsea.

His first goal for the club came during a 2-0 away win over Fulham on October 2, 2023. After a chipped cross from Levi Colwill found Mudryk just inside the penalty area, the Ukrainian controlled the ball with a neat touch on his chest before sliding the ball underneath Bernd Leno with his left foot.

It opened the scoring for Chelsea, who added a second just minutes later when Armando Broja found the back of the net after an error from American defender Tim Ream.

Mudryk scored his second goal for Chelsea during his next start for the club. After dropping to the bench versus Burnley, he was recalled to the starting XI for the Blues’ 2-2 draw against Arsenal on October 2.

The Ukrainian gave Mauricio Pochettino’s side a 2-0 lead in the 48th minute after what looked like a mishit left-footed cross looped over David Raya and into the far corner.

His third Chelsea goal came in the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Newcastle United. After a Kieran Trippier mistake, Mudryk pounced to make it 1-1 in the dying embers of normal time.

He then slotted away his penalty in the shootout as Chelsea booked their place in the semi-final.

Despite his impact versus Newcastle, Mudryk was on the bench again during Chelsea's 2-1 loss to Wolves and he was unable to score in his short cameo on the pitch. However, he returned to the starting XI against Crystal Palace on December 27 and the Ukrainian opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a nice side-footed finish.

Malo Gusto provided the assist and Mudryk was calm in front of goal to score for the fourth time in a Chelsea shirt. The Blues ultimately won the game 2-1 thanks to a late Noni Madueke penalty.

Mudryk's next goal wouldn't come until the end of February 2024 when he scored against Leeds in the FA Cup fifth round. Shortly thereafter, he again haunted Newcastle in a 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge, netting brilliantly after rounding goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

It was a lengthy wait but Mudryk got another when he netted a slick goal against Nottingham Forest on May 11. Cole Palmer was there with the assist for the attacker, in what was an impressive goal for the Blues.

His first came for a Mateo Kovacic volley against Leicester City on March 11, 2023. After a Kai Havertz cross, Mudryk headed the ball back into the area and Kovacic finished superbly.

The Ukrainian's next assist came in a dire performance against Manchester United on December 6, 2023. Mauricio Pochettino's side were completely overran at Old Trafford and were fortunate to only lose 2-1.

The only positive was when Cole Palmer netted a brilliantly-taken goal in the 45th minute of the game; the Englishman danced away from Victor Lindelof before squeezing a shot past Andre Onana and into the far corner. Palmer's goal was assisted by a neat pass from Mudryk, who had found space in between the lines.

Mudryk's latest assist was a corner against Wolves, which was headed home by Thiago Silva.
