Mykhailo Mudryk tattoos: What are they and how many does he have?

Mykhailo Mudryk’s transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea for an initial €70 million in January 2023 caused quite the commotion on social media.
The Ukraine international was expected to join Arsenal, but the Gunners’ London rivals Chelsea hijacked their proposed deal and signed Mudryk during the 2022-23 winter window.
The winger’s start to life at Chelsea didn’t go as smoothly as his price tag suggested it should have done, however. He failed to score during his first six months at Stamford Bridge, with his first goal coming in his 24th appearance for the club.

Mudryk finally broke his duck during a 2-0 win against Fulham on 2 October 2023, before he notched his second Chelsea goal just over two weeks later against Arsenal, the team who wanted to sign him.
But, rather than his performances on the pitch, one of the most noticeable things about the start of Mudryk’s Chelsea career has been his tattoos.

What are Mykhailo Mudryk’s neck tattoos?
Mudryk has several tattoos on his neck. On the left-hand side of his neck, the Ukraine international has the words “Only Jesus”, with an infinity sign directly above the words.
On the right-hand side of his neck, Mudryk has three large blue butterflies. The middle one has both its wings spread out, while the one directly next to his ear is a side profile of a butterfly, therefore only one wing is seen.
The bottom butterfly is hidden by his matchday shirt, and is more on his collarbone than his neck. The Ukraine winger only had one blue butterfly tattooed on his neck before he joined Chelsea. The other two were added after his move to Stamford Bridge in January 2023.
In the middle of his neck, Mudryk has inked the words “talent ain’t enough.” The word “talent” has been crossed through.
What other tattoos does Mykhailo Mudryk have?
Mudryk has several large tattoos on his chest. On the left side of his chest, placed above his heart, the Chelsea star has a red heart tattooed next to a football.
On the right side of his chest, the following words are tattooed on Mudryk: “Dear God, if today I lose my hope, remind me that your plans are better than my dreams.”
Mudryk also has many tattoos on his hands. The winger has a cross inked above his left thumb, while the letters “F” and “E” are tattooed on the inside of his right and left palm. When he puts his hands together to pray, the letters “F” and “E” come together to create the Portuguese word for “faith.”
On one of his fingers, Mudryk also has the words “Thank you God” inscribed, while the word “Impossible” is tattooed on the top of his right hand.
In addition, Mudryk has tattoos on both of his triceps, but they are often hidden by his football shirt and it is hard to make out what they both say.
Furthermore, Mudryk has the word “again” tattooed on his right leg six times. He also has “Play Freely” with a football next to it tattooed between his calf and his heel on his left leg, and “Play Happy” with a heart next to it in the same position on his right leg.
How many tattoos does Mykhailo Mudryk have?
In total, Mudryk has at least 16 tattoos. However, he may have several more that we have not spotted or have not been pictured online.
