'Arteta's been sussed out' - Fans react to another Arsenal defeat

Arsenal have suffered another defeat in the Premier League, which leaves them in fourth after topping the table at Christmas.

After losing to West Ham just a few days ago, it would turn into another match to forget for Mikel Arteta's men when they lined up to face Fulham. Though Arsenal took the lead through Bukayo Saka early on, the Gunners would collapse and come out on the losing side after goals from Raul Jimenez and Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

Arteta and company are now winless in three games despite, at one point, looking like they could keep their good form going until the end of the season, having ostensibly learned their lesson from last term's disappointment. While it is way too early to count the Gunners out for the rest of the season, their last two games are a major cause for concern.

Some fans have claimed that the hectic holiday schedule is to blame for their dip in form, but the more relaxed January calendar will put that theory to the test. Others believe that Mikel Arteta has quite simply been sussed out by opposition coaches, while some think that this is due to Arsenal's lack of a prolific number nine.

The idea that Arsenal can buy someone to magically transform this in January is fanciful. Something fundamental had to change in the way Arsenal play / attack now. It’s been sussed and Arsenal have to have the humility to understand that and come up with something else.
