TeamTalk reports that he has failed to make an impression under new manager Mauricio Pochettino and given the talent the club already have at their side, he will be allowed to leave.

The Blues have brought in a number of wingers over the past two transfer windows and so it’s believed that his development will be hindered.

Madueke has only made six appearances in the Premier League so far this campaign, with one solitary start in the competition.

Now it’s thought that he would be open to a move away in the winter window even though Chelsea are keen to retain his services and see what the future holds.

When did Madueke join Chelsea?

The 21-year-old joined in January this year in a deal worth £29million from PSV, being handed a seven-year contract. He has failed to integrate into the club and now his future appears unclear.

Pochettino is the third coach that has managed him, following the exits of Graham Potter and Frank Lampard. He falls behind the pecking order to the likes of Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk. It’s thought that a loan could be possible in January.

Despite having a contract running until 2030, Madueke could leave the side - with the ambition of catching the attention of England manager Gareth Southgate ahead of the European Championships.

Chelsea are set to face off against Manchester United this evening in the Premier League. Both clubs are enduring a testing season and will be hoping to climb the table towards a place in Europe.
