'Pochettino OUT' - Chelsea fans react to ANOTHER Premier League defeat
Chelsea fell to their eighth Premier League defeat of the season at Molineux as Wolves ran out 2-1 winners on Christmas Eve, with Christopher Nkunku’s late goal not enough to mount a comeback.
The French nodded home a neat header to give Mauricio Pochettino hope in added time, but it wasn’t to be as Chelsea fell further away from the top four.
The Blues are now 14 points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth and are only 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
Their form in 2023 has been woeful and Pochettino’s appointment has not had its desired effect.
Despite some promising moments, including the performances against Manchester City and Liverpool, Chelsea have been a disaster this season and the display at Molineux was a familiar story.

While the Blues had 69% possession, Wolves mustered more shots on target (six to five) and Chelsea have now lost four consecutive Premier League away games.
The Blues have missed the most big chances in the entire English top flight and poor cutting-edge was the problem once again.

Raheem Sterling passed up an incredible first half chance, while Nicolas Jackson was also at fault for several guilt-edge misses.
2.05 xG was created by Pochettino’s side, but woeful finishing was the issue as it’s been in most games this season.

What have fans said?
People blaming Pochettino for that game are clueless. Players were absolutely disgraceful. Missing open goals at one end & falling over the ball at the other.
Only reason he should be sacked is if he didn’t put a hole in the dressing room wall at half time.— Felix (@FelixJohnston_) December 24, 2023
Pochettino and Sporting directors. Do what’s best for the club and don’t even bother turning up to this club again.

Being wasteful in front of goal is why I laugh when people put up theories why coach A or B will perform wonders at Chelsea.
Mate, no manager will control players' thoughts on decision-making once they are on the pitch. It's either you have k*llers or you don't. Simple!— Vince™ (@Blue_Footy) December 24, 2023
On one hand, Chelsea should have scored at least one goal this game. Can't blame Poch for the Sterling miss.
On the other hand, it's been four months and they still have NO answer they go 1-0 down against a side that will then just sit deep & defend.— Alex (@EuroExpert_) December 24, 2023
That is unfathomably bad from Sterling. Has been bright so far but that is atrocious decision making.

10th, 14 points off 4th...
After £1 billion spent Chelsea NEEDED this season to be a vast improvement on last and it just hasn't been.
They are running out of academy graduates to sell, many of the players signed to long contracts aren't good enough... it's a complete mess.— Dougie Critchley (@DougieCritchley) December 24, 2023

I’m there now. Pochettino should be sacked. Not tomorrow, it’s Christmas. Instead, tonight.
But don’t you dare think that’s going to fix us overnight. We are still an absolute circus with a huge culture issue.— Alex Goldberg (@AlexGoldberg_) December 24, 2023
