How much Man Utd can raise by selling Sancho, Casemiro and Varane

Manchester United have reportedly transfer listed Casemiro and Raphael Varane alongside Jadon Sancho. How much can they expect to raise from the three high-profile departures?

Sancho has been frozen out at Old Trafford after publicly undermining Erik ten Hag in September over claims about his effort in training.

Former Real Madrid pair Casemiro and Varane were previously first-choices at Old Trafford, meanwhile, but the respective resurgences of Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay has left them surplus to requirements.

As exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers recently, United are annoyed at two players leaking stories to the media, and although none of the three aforementioned are held responsible for that, they are now deemed surplus to requirements.

"Manchester United are willing to listen to offers on a series of high-profile players, as Erik ten Hag seeks to hone his squad and ensure it is fully committed to his approach," reports The Independent's Miguel Delaney.

"All of Casemiro, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho are available for transfer, although the club will be flexible on other squad members."

How much are they worth?

According to FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, Casemiro is valued at €30.9 million (£26.5m), Varane €26m (£22.3m) and Sancho €33.2m (£28.4m) - meaning United could fetch a total of €90.1m (£77.2m) if they sold them at market value.

Whether they would having willing buyers is another matter entirely, however. All three have had suitors from the Saudi Pro League - from clubs who could easily meet such asking prices - but Sancho is understood to be uninterested in a move away from European football at 23 years of age.

A more likely move for him seems to be either former club Borussia Dortmund or Serie A giants Juventus, with Tottenham Hotspur also previously linked with a move for the winger.

But the first two would likely be loan deals with an option to buy later, while Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to sanction a bid that would trump either of those offers.

For now, United's best bet would appear to be unloading Casemiro and Varane to the Saudi Pro League for a combined €56.9m (£48.8m), whilst contenting themselves with getting Sancho off of their wage bill and out of their dressing room permanently.

The three players earn a combined £940,000 per week in basic salary at Old Trafford, which would save another £11.3m per year for the Red Devils.
