EXCLUSIVE: Bayern Munich weigh up Todibo and Danso moves

Bayern Munich are looking to beat Manchester United in the pursuit of highly sought-after Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo, FootballTransfers can reveal.

The Nice defender has been linked with a move away from Ligue 1 for most of the year, with several top European clubs expressing interest in acquiring his services.

Sources close to the situation reveal that Bayern Munich has identified Todibo as a target to bolster their backline, while they also have an interest in Kevin Danso of Lens.

Danso is liked by Paris Saint-Germain, too, but it's thought that a deal will be too pricey to see through for the French club.

Man Utd have been long linked with Todibo, and is now facing stiff competition from the reigning Bundesliga champions. The Red Devils have been monitoring his progress in Ligue 1, playing for Ineos' owned side Nice.

The player joined the side from Barcelona and has subsequently impressed with his performances, prompting several European powerhouses to take notice.

Sources close to the situation suggest that Ineos views the Italian as a promising addition to the squad of either the Red Devils or Nice.

The 24-year-old has been turning heads with his impressive performances in Serie A, and we are told that a deal can be done for around €30million.

The low valuation of the player means he could act as a fill-in at Old Trafford, given his ability to play across the defense, including left-back.
