‘I’d pay so much money to do that’ - Mbappe reveals what he’s LOST at PSG in exit hint
Kylian Mbappe’s future at PSG continues to hang in the balance, with persistent transfer rumours linking him with a potential move to Real Madrid or Liverpool in the summer.
Mbappe will become a free agent if he does not sign a new contract with the Parc des Princes club, but with Madrid’s interest apparently cooling and his wages of a magnitude that was smash the salary structure at Anfield, there is not an obvious move for him to make.
He has been able to discuss terms with foreign clubs since 1 January, but the 25-year-old insists that he is not close to making a decision over his future.
This is a stance that has reportedly irritated Real Madrid, who had given him a 15 January deadline to accept a contract offer.
But if that angered Los Blancos president Florentino Perez, the Spanish side may be heartened by a comment released by the French media regarding an interview with Envoye Special, which will be published on 18 January.
Mbappe laments his loss of spontaneity
Mbappe has complained that at PSG, he has lost his ability to do everyday things.
“Going to buy bread at the bakery? I’d pay so much money now to be able to this kind of thing, which is normal for most people,” he admitted.
Asked if he had a magic wand for two days, what he'd do, Mbappe replied: "I'd spend my two days outside, that's for sure! I can say that without thinking.
“I’ve lost spontaneity, the spontaneity of being a human being.”
Mbappe may lament not being able to drop to the shops in Paris, but as one of the most recognisable stars in the world, he is unlikely to find the situation any better at another major club.
Real Madrid are renowned for the manner in which their Galacticos every actions are followed by fans, while Liverpool are one of the most fervently supported clubs in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, the appeal of a change from the Parisian goldfish bowl could be attractive this summer for the forward.
