How Sancho's move from Man Utd to Borussia Dortmund is turning into 'transfer farce'
Jadon Sancho's potential return to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester United is turning into a transfer debacle, according to the latest reports.
The two clubs are awaiting approval for the loan deal, say Sky Germany. Despite initial reports suggesting an imminent agreement, a last-minute hiccup has now emerged, leading to the cancellation of a scheduled flight from Manchester to Dortmund.
Subsequent negotiations between the clubs focused on completing the details of the move, including the potential inclusion of a purchase clause. The Red Devils do not wish to insert one, something that has caused further delay. It comes after two successive flight bookings, initially set for Friday and then rescheduled for Saturday, were both canceled.
Willl Sancho move to Dortmund?
It's believed that Sancho is still awaiting the green light and no breakthrough has been achieved. As a result, Sancho's participation in Dortmund's training camp is now at serious risk.
Ruhr Nachrichten describe the situation as evolving into a transfer farce, with the move still up in the air. The previously booked flight for Sancho remains grounded, and his departure seems unlikely.
Sancho has not played football since the start of the season. His fallout with Erik ten Hag has seen him frozen out of the Man Utd side entirely. The Dutch head coach requested that Sancho apologise to him after the winger published a social media post in which he claimed he was being a scapegoat.
Sancho refused to say sorry to Ten Hag, which has meant that he is no longer in the side, with his future open.
