Man Utd legend slams Ten Hag's 'dangerous' transfer policy
Erik ten Hag 'keeps bringing in his mates' at Manchester United - something that could backfire according to Paul Parker.
Ten Hag has signed a number of his former Ajax players since arriving at Man Utd in April 2022, with Lisandro Martinez, Antony and Andre Onana all following him to the club.
United have also been linked with Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt, two more of Ten Hag's former Ajax protégés, and it is understood the Dutchman now wants to move for yet another in Brian Brobbey.
But Parker, who won the Premier League as United's right-back in 1993 and 1994, thinks Ten Hag is making a mistake.
Antony, what are you doing? 🤦♂️ https://t.co/Nv3nQ7dCWH

Ten Hag 'keeps bringing in his mates'
"What happened to Antony?" he asked bettingexpert rhetorically of a player who cost €95 million but has failed to contribute a goal or assist from 22 games this season.
"So, yeah, it's worrying if Erik ten Hag is that focused on bringing in some of his former players, keeping in mind that Antony was his first priority. If he was his first priority, how bad must his second priorities be then."
"I think Erik ten Hag should be a bit careful.
"He is putting himself under seriously hard pressure if he keeps bringing in his mates, which he has done on some occasions. If they are not performing well, he will be the guy to look at. I think it's a dangerous one."
It is understood that Ten hag will no longer be in charge of transfers once Sir Jim Ratcliffe's minority takeover is completed at the end of the season, and Oma Berrada has already been installed as the new CEO.
While De Jong and De Ligt remain at the top of the game - now playing their club football for Barcelona and Bayern Munich respectively - the new regime are expected to put the brakes on some other deals.
