'What will the Pochettino apologists say now? - Chelsea fans reach breaking point
Mauricio Pochettino has been scorned online after Chelsea went down 2-1 to Wolves at the break.
The Blues found the opening goal through in-form Cole Palmer but then two deflected goals saw Gary O'Neil's side go ahead at the end of the first half.
The game at Stamford Bridge has some of the Chelsea fans imploring the club's hierarchy to sack the Argentine coach, with the side currently sitting 10th in the Premier League.
Chelsea have invested heavily over the past two seasons under the ownership of Todd Boehly but such spending has not translated to success on the pitch.
Pochettino arrived over the summer but results have been near enough the same for the West London side. Some corners of the support now believe that the former Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain head coach has had enough time to turn around their fortunes but has failed.
Chelsea fans have meltdown
On social media, Pochettino started to trend for all the wrong reasons. A number of Chelsea fan accounts have claimed to have reached breaking point with the coach.
Wonder what the Poch apologists will cook up this week. They can all fuck off with him

This team just continue to let us fans down. Poch and the players just don’t care about us fans who have to watch this rubbish every week

Small chorus of Chelsea fans joining in with Wolves “sacked in the morning” chants aimed at Poch.

Poch SHOULD have 45 mins to save his job.
This is beyond drab. Has been the whole season and Poch has no idea how to change things.
Persisting with Gallagher and Sterling etc. But actually think it’s more than that. No identity. No system. No patterns. #CHEWOL— Jake Heasman (@jakeheasman) February 4, 2024
Chelsea losing again? How is Poch still in that job..

There’s no identity or style of play, Poch has had a pre season and six months down the line theres no image.
