Not just Gyokeres and Osimhen! Arsenal target TEN strikers
Arsenal are taking no chances when it comes to keeping their options open in the transfer window, with sporting director Edu having compiled a 10-man shortlist up front.
FootballTransfers revealed that Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres is the Gunners' priority as the summer transfer period approaches, but the Mirror reports that beyond the Sweden star, there are another nine names who could wind up at the Emirates Stadium.
It underlines the determination of Arsenal to add a more traditional goal-scoring player to their ranks, with Gabriel Jesus not weighing in with the volume of strikes that the club would ideally like to see.
Eddie Nketiah, meanwhile, could be allowed to leave in the summer, leaving the former Manchester City forward as the only natural No.9 in their ranks.

Who is on Arsenal’s shortlist?
Gyokeres leads the way in Arsenal’s thinking, with a string of familiar names not entirely ruled out, according to this report.
Ivan Toney is mentioned along with Victor Osimhen, although FootballTransfers understands that interest in both these players has cooled due to the price tags that Brentford and Napoli have put on their stars. Still, it is understandable that Arsenal would keep tabs on both should their situation change.
RB Leipzig hitman Benjamin Sesko is also being scouted by Arsenal, who are also following his clubmate Lois Opena.

Arteta’s men are also keeping an eye on how Alexander Isak’s position at Newcastle plays out. It has been reported that the Magpies may need to sell in order to meet the Premier League’s profit and sustainability requirements.
Other names mentioned include Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez, Ajax’s Brian Brobbey, Porto’s Evanilson and Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface. These players are likely to come cheaper and may arrive in addition to a blockbuster addition.
What this proves is that Arsenal and Arteta are deadly serious about adding more firepower to their team ahead of next season.
